Hey guys,

I guess I'm starting a real blog.
I will probably put up articles that I write for the paper and, come mid-august, stuff about being in Thailand, since I'm going there to study abroad.
My hope for this blog is to build myself a little corner of the internet where I actually put in some effort to make it interesting and original, instead of just posting pictures of tattoos and cats. or tattoos of cats.

It is a pigeon. You may see this as a reoccurring theme in this blog. I named it "Doing The Pigeon" because I often feel like I'm just stumbling my way through things, in a not very graceful or balanced way. I'm applying the term pigeon as a descriptor to my life, in the same way that being pigeon-toed describes someone who isn't quite walking right, but they're walking anyway. That is what I'm doing. I'm doing the pigeon... with life.
